Technical developments: ready for the future
Moditech is growing fast. We are working behind the scenes on several developments and solutions for the near future. We want to share two of these developments with you. Due to increasing customer demands and the growing number of customers, we need to guarantee the continuity of our services.
Migration to the Cloud
To ensure the continuity, we will move the current infrastructure to the cloud. Security and compliance (security and availability of our data) play a major role at Moditech. This will be the focus of particular attention during the migration to the cloud and the provision of subsequent services. The infrastructure in the cloud has many advantages for the user:
- Acceleration of current products and services
- Higher guarantee of security in transactions and of data
- Faster downloading of updates due to enormous bandwidth
- Even less download time for our services
- Faster service recovery in the event of emergencies
Improving security might mean that you have to entrust your infrastructure with new IP addresses or FQDNs (domain names). Naturally, we will contact you about this.
We will do everything in our power to ensure that no service is disrupted and that you, the customer, experience as little inconvenience as possible from the migration.
Pre-testing?
We want to invite you (as system administrator) to test the infrastructure in the cloud with TestFlight for iOS or the Beta programme on Google Playstore. You can register for this service by emailing us at testen@moditech.com. You will receive an invitation as soon as the test release is online.
Integrated CRS
We can also contribute to the field of Command and Control Software. By considering the best way for third parties to integrate, we expect to come up with brand new API links this month.
