Online Certified Instructors Program Training Material
As a developer of the Crash Recovery System (CRS), Moditech has the ambition to be a knowledge institute in the field of emergency response. By using the CRS, emergency responders can act safer and quicker because they know exactly what safety features are present in vehicles and how to handle these safely.
In addition to being used in emergency assistance, the CRS is also extremely suitable for use in exercises and training for emergency response. Moditech has been offering a training program for instructors for a number of years, the Certified Instructor Program (CIP).
The CIP supports instructors in keeping their knowledge of modern vehicle technologies up-to-date and in the preparation of training courses, exercises in the field of emergency response and, for example, practice evenings. We use different working methods, presentations and scenario cards. There are also Virtual Reality and 3D scenarios with modern vehicles. Explanations are given about the safe operation of vehicles with existing and new fuels and safety systems by using the Crash Recovery System.
The various materials from previous CIP programs are now offered online by Moditech through the website moditech.com/training/training-downloads and can be downloaded as many times and as often as desired. We provide a general presentation about the CRS and a more specific presentation about using the CRS on Windows and Android/iOS devices. In addition, two presentations on the topics ‘modern vehicle technology’ and ‘alternative propulsion’. We will supplement these topics in the near future with other topics in the field of THV (emergency response) and associated presentation material.
Each topic includes a presentation and associated instructor notes. In addition, various ‘active working methods’ are included to allow students to practice with the information from the presentation. The presentations from our program can be used immediately as teaching material for practice evenings. In addition, the materials can also be used, for instance, by the instructors for retraining exercise leaders and other instructors.
