Important software update with new features for the CRS

An important software update has been released for the Crash Recovery System which includes the following new functions and improvements:

• It is now possible to select vehicles via number plates from Austria and Finland
• It is also possible to select vehicles from Finland using the VIN number, please contact us at support@moditech.com
• The Crash Recovery System Rescue sheet has been updated with additional ISO components such as location of air conditioning systems, presence of extinguishing systems and jacking points. Update the database of your CRS to make the symbols visible in the CRS Rescuesheet.
• We have added new symbols for electric door handles and the location of the charging plug. Update the database of your CRS to make the symbols visible in the CRS Rescuesheet.
• Various bug fixes and improvements to background processes such as: automatic renewal, the possibility of a pre-config file and improvements in the scheduler for downloading data updates in the background.

If your Crash Recovery System is running on Android or iOS, go to the Google Playstore or App Store and check for app updates. If your Crash Recovery System is running on Windows, when you start the CRS you will be asked if you want to install the latest software version. If you do not have rights to install the software, you will be asked to install the update with Administrator rights.
