BYD Company is a major Chinese vehicle manufacturer. It produces battery-electric and plug-in hybrid passenger vehicles, vans, buses and trucks. It is, therefore, imperative that all comprehensive safety information on these vehicles should be available to first responders around the world. The Bliksund / Moditech Crash Recovery System interactive rescue sheets empower these professionals to access all rescue-relevant information about them easily.

Partnering with BYD strengthens our ability to expand and deliver the most accurate and comprehensive database for our Crash Recovery System. Many battery-electric BYD models are already included in the database, including the Atto 3, Dolphin, e6, Han, Seal, Seal U, and Tang passenger cars, the ETP3 van, and at least 16 buses. Of course, new BYD models will be added when they are released.

Here, the focus on adding buses is strongly on buses in Europe and UK especially the ones operating in the London (UK) conurbation, where the local government requires manufacturers to have their buses included in the Crash Recovery System.
