We increasingly see electrically powered construction vehicles on construction sites, where clean technology and reducing harmful emissions are important issues. Various new construction vehicles will be added to the Crash Recovery System in one of the upcoming database updates.
It concerns five different vehicles that are part of JCB’s 100% electric E-TECH range. Electric (mini) excavators were previously added to the CRS, which will now also include the 19C-1E. This mini excavator has a battery capacity of 20 kWh, as does the 403E electric wheel loader. Furthermore, the JCB 1TE electric dumper (10 kWh), the 525-60E electric compact telehandler (24 kWh) and finally the JCB 30-19E electric Teletruk equipped with an 80V lead–acid battery will also be available in the CRS.

The vehicle information required for first responders for all these electric construction vehicles will be available in the interactive CRS Rescue Sheets. Consider here the exact location of the components and deactivation methods.
