Database Update April 2022

A new database update of the Crash Recovery System is available for download; it concerns the April update with version number 29-Apr-2022-01. This update includes the addition of new vehicles to the CRS, and several existing CRS Rescue sheets have been improved.

Newly added to the Cars and Vans category are the Bentley Bentayga (Hybrid), Chevrolet Bolt (EUV), Ford Maverick, Lamborghini Sián, Mitsubishi Express, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, Toyota Aygo X, Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Proace City Verso Electric (Long).

Two new Buses have also been added, namely the MAN Lion’s Intercity LE and the Solaris H2 Lyon hydrogen bus.

Two exciting new additions to the Special Vehicles category are the EasyMile EZ10 electric autonomous shuttle bus and the Doosan/ECE Powerbox. This interchangeable powerbox powers the Doosan DX165W Electric excavator previously listed in the CRS and can also be used as a stand-alone power source. The Powerbox can also be found under Construction Vehicles where the Liebherr LB 16 unplugged, the world’s first battery-powered drilling rig, has also been added.

Furthermore, much work has been done to adapt several existing CRS Rescuesheets to the new ISO symbols. This month’s focus was on hydrogen-powered vehicles, including the Toyota Mirai and Hyundai ix35 Fuel Cell.
